Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a small bowl, combine the ground ham, 1/2 cup salad dressing, sweet pickle relish, and grated onion. Mix well and refrigerate. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a separate bowl, combine the ground bologna, 1/2 cup salad dressing, and 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish. Mix well and refrigerate. (5 minutes)

03

Step

In a third bowl, stir together 1 package softened cream cheese, chopped walnuts, chopped green olives, and 2 tablespoons milk until well combined. Refrigerate. (5 minutes)

04

Step

In a fourth bowl, mix together the shredded Cheddar cheese, 1 package softened cream cheese, 3 tablespoons salad dressing, onion salt, garlic salt, and celery salt. Refrigerate. (5 minutes)

05

Step

On a serving platter, begin assembling the loaf. Spread the ham mixture evenly on the bottom slice of bread, then top with another slice. Spread the bologna mixture on the next slice, followed by another slice of bread. Spread the walnut cream cheese mixture on the next slice and top with bread. Finish with the Cheddar cheese spread and top with the final slice of bread. (15 minutes)

06

Step

Using a large spatula or knife, smooth the sides of the loaf to create a neat appearance. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the fillings to set. (30 minutes)

07

Step

For the frosting, in a large bowl, beat together the remaining 2 packages of cream cheese with milk, adding milk gradually until you reach a smooth, spreadable consistency. (5 minutes)

08

Step

Frost the sides of the chilled sandwich loaf first, then the top. Decorate with chopped sweet pickles and diced pimentos to your liking. Serve chilled. (10 minutes)

For a more elegant presentation, use a serrated knife to trim the crusts off the bread before assembling the loaf.
Feel free to customize the fillings with your favorite deli meats, cheeses, or spreads. Consider adding a layer of thinly sliced cucumber or bell peppers for added freshness and crunch.
If you prefer a less sweet frosting, substitute plain Greek yogurt for some of the cream cheese.
The frosted loaf can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator, covered tightly, until ready to serve.
