Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Prepare the Beans: In a large colander, combine the garbanzo beans and great northern beans. Rinse thoroughly under cold water and allow to drain completely. (5 minutes)

02

Step
7 mins

Blend the Hummus: In the bowl of a food processor, combine the drained beans, Buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing mix, lemon juice, tahini, and minced garlic. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure even blending. (5-7 minutes)

03

Step
2 mins

Adjust Consistency: With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the hummus reaches your desired consistency. If you prefer a thinner hummus, add a little more olive oil or a tablespoon of water at a time. (2 minutes)

04

Step
2 mins

Season and Serve: Season the hummus with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with a bit of extra virgin olive oil, and serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, pita bread, or tortilla chips. (2 minutes)

For a smoother hummus, remove the skins from the garbanzo beans before blending.
Adjust the amount of Buffalo wing sauce to control the heat level. Start with less and add more to taste.
If you don't have ranch dressing mix on hand, you can substitute with a blend of dried dill, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
This hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. The flavors will meld and deepen over time.
