Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a large loaf pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, gently mix together the drained tuna, cream of chicken soup, milk, crushed saltine crackers, bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, egg, and a generous pinch of black pepper until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, approximately 25 to 30 minutes. (30 minutes)

05

Step

Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

For a richer flavor, try using cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken.
Add a tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley or dill for a touch of freshness.
Ensure the tuna is well-drained to prevent a soggy loaf.
Serve with a homemade chicken gravy for an extra special touch. Simply whisk chicken broth with a bit of cornstarch and simmer until thickened, then season with salt and pepper.
