Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, gently combine the diced apples, sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, and melted butter until evenly coated. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Lightly moisten all edges of a wonton wrapper with water. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of the wrapper. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Carefully fold all four corners of the wonton towards the center, pinching to seal tightly. Ensure no filling escapes. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Brush the tops of the assembled wontons with the beaten egg white, then sprinkle evenly with the remaining cinnamon. Arrange the wontons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the wontons are golden brown and the filling is heated through, about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving. (15 minutes)

For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the apple mixture.
Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra touch of indulgence.
If you don't have wonton wrappers, you can use puff pastry cut into small squares.
Store leftover bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
