For an extra nutty flavor, toast the pecans lightly before chopping. If you don’t have a double boiler, a heatproof bowl set over a simmering pot of water works perfectly. Ensure the crescent roll dough is cold for easier handling.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (5 minutes)
Melt butterscotch chips and butter in the top of a double boiler or in a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in flour, salt, and pecans. Set aside. (10 minutes)
Separate crescent roll triangles. On a greased cookie sheet, arrange crescent rolls overlapping edges to form a circle. Long pointed ends of each roll should point outwards. Spread 2 rounded teaspoons of butterscotch mixture on each triangle. Roll up triangles, beginning with the pointed end of the roll. Slash the inside half of each roll. (20 minutes)
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and let cool. (15 minutes)
While rolls bake, melt the remaining butterscotch morsels and corn syrup; mix well. Drizzle over cooled rolls. (5 minutes)
