Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Lightly coat a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. (2 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, gently combine ground turkey, egg, parsley, bread crumbs, adobo seasoning, salt, and pepper until just mixed. Be careful not to overmix. (7 minutes)

04

Step

Press half of the turkey mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the shredded Cheddar cheese in a generous mound down the center of the pan, creating a molten cheese core. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Top with the remaining turkey mixture, carefully shaping it to form a loaf and encasing the cheese. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the meatloaf is browned and cooked through, approximately 1 hour. (60 minutes)

08

Step

During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheese evenly over the top of the meatloaf to create a golden, bubbly crust. (5 minutes)

09

Step

Remove from oven and let the meatloaf rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful loaf. (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the turkey mixture.
Feel free to substitute the Cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese, such as Monterey Jack, Gruyere, or a blend of cheeses.
To ensure the meatloaf is cooked through, use a meat thermometer. It should register 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) in the center.
Serve with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.

I like to add a little BBQ sauce to the top before baking for a sweet and smoky flavor.

I've made this meatloaf several times now, and it's always a hit. The turkey keeps it lighter than beef, and the cheese makes it so flavorful.

Easy to follow and the meatloaf came out perfectly. I added some diced onions and bell peppers to the meat mixture for extra flavor.

I tried this with mozzarella cheese and it was fantastic! Will definitely make again.

I reduced the amount of bread crumbs slightly and it was still great. I also used Italian seasoning instead of adobo.
