Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, crumble together the flour and margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Blend well. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let the crust cool completely. (30 minutes)

03

Step

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and confectioners' sugar together until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 2 cups of the thawed whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust. (10 minutes)

04

Step

In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and the 5 cups of whole milk until smooth. Do not follow the directions on the pudding mix box. Pour this mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Top the pudding layer with the remaining 1 cup of whipped topping, spreading it evenly over the surface. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours, or until fully chilled and set. Serve cold and enjoy! (120 minutes)

For a different flavor profile, try using vanilla, butterscotch, or white chocolate instant pudding mix.
To make the crust extra decadent, add 1/4 cup of sugar to the flour and margarine mixture.
Garnish with chocolate shavings, fresh berries, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an elegant presentation.
