Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step
10 mins

In a large bowl, gently mix the ground turkey, ground buffalo, bread crumbs, dry onion soup mix, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, egg, dill dip, blue cheese dressing, and Worcestershire sauce until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can lead to a tough loaf. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing gently to ensure it's evenly distributed. (10 minutes)

03

Step
45 mins

Cover the loaf pan tightly with aluminum foil, ensuring a good seal to trap moisture. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven. (45 minutes)

04

Step
15 mins

Carefully remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) when measured with a meat thermometer. (15 minutes)

05

Step
10 mins

Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful loaf. (10 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try using a combination of different types of day-old bread for the breadcrumbs.
If you don't have dill dip, you can substitute with sour cream or plain yogurt mixed with a teaspoon of dried dill.
To prevent the loaf from sticking, line the loaf pan with parchment paper before greasing it.
Consider adding a glaze during the last 15 minutes of baking. A simple glaze of ketchup, brown sugar, and a dash of Worcestershire sauce would complement the flavors nicely.

This was surprisingly good! I was skeptical about the dill dip and blue cheese dressing, but it totally works! My family loved it.

My loaf was a little dry, even though I followed the recipe exactly. Next time, I might add a little more dill dip or some broth to keep it moist.
